I wish I would have read it last month when my book club discussed it but, better late than never. Though it's a short, gentle novel, its impact is lasting. It stays with you long after you've turned the final page and leaves you wanting to treat others with the same kindness, compassion, and quiet grace that Theo showed everyone he met.
Ok, I think I need to revisit this book. I started it a couple of months ago and DNF. I could not get into it. I think timing may have been wrong. You are the second trusted reader who loved. Back on my library list it goes.

I am a big believer in listening to your gut and not wasting time on books that don't grab you but, this is one I would revisit. I thought it was going to be too syrupy/cutesy for me so didn't read it last month with my bookclub. They all raved about it so much I had to check it out and am so glad that I did. I hope you revisit and love it. ♥
