Bookmarks Magazine - Mar/Apr

I just got my latest Bookmarks Magazine - and unfortunately I am slammed with work.  I did manage to make the time to glance through it this morning over a cup of coffee and here are the reads that jumped out at me that I am going to put in my queue: (all book covers are clickable and take you to Amazon....but I found all the books at my online library)

This one is out of my comfort zone but, the review was so intriguing I added it to my library queue.

Let me know what books you have in your queue (whether from Bookmarks or some other source)

  1. Hi Elle - am not able to see your book titles! (maybe it's my browser?)

At any rate, here's my library:

    1. Do you have an 'ad blocker' on? Those are links to the amazon books which your ad blocker may be blocking.

    2. Ah, yes, that was exactly what it was - thanks! I had forgotten that I installed it on Firefox. Will turn it off for your site (love love book recommendations - I'm a librarian) :)

    3. Oh, that would be an amazing job to be surrounded be fellow bibliophiles. Thanks for the link to your library - I am having fun exploring it. Of course, I am starting with your 5 star reads :-)

  2. Thanks Elle!

I only saw three books in this issue. American Housewife, Dr Mr You and The Expatriates. Either the books featured wasn't my cup of tea or it could be that my TBR is just so long that I am being super selective.

    1. I am glad I am not the only one. I thought maybe it was that I was so busy with work and wasn't being open but, this issue didn't seem to have near as many as others for me. After seeing the ranking on page 7, I just started The Little Life.

    2. I am anxious to see what you think. I have heard varying reviews from friends, some love and some do not like because they think the author manipuated the reader by putting so many issues on the main characters. We have similar tastes in books usually so I can't wait to hear your review. Enjoy!
