When this book opened, I didn't think I was going to enjoy it. I thought this was going to be a formula serial murder book. I am so happy to say that I was wrong. This novel is extremely well written with characters that have depth and a plot that has twists to mention it is set in fabulous Portland Oregon.

I really enjoyed this book and the next couple in the series. Agree with you, I really enjoyed Chelsea Cain's writing and character development. So creepy the relationship between Gretchen and Archie.
